Eucharistic Apostles of the Divine Mercy (EADM)

EADM in Sacred Heart Parish is an affiliate of the non-profit lay outreach ministry of the Congregation of Marians of the Immaculate Conception, with headquarters in Massachusetts, USA. It is a Roman Catholic lay apostolate under the patronage of the “Entirely Perfect Virgin, Holy Mary” of Guadalupe. Fr. Seraphim Michalenko, MIC and Dr. Bryan Thatcher, the founder and director of EADM, brought the ministry to the Philippines on October 1998, after it was granted apostolic blessing by Pope John Paul II. Msgr. Josefino Ramirez, then the National Spiritual Director of the Divine Mercy, was entrusted to promote the ministry.

Emmy Dy, a Divine Mercy devotee from the Sacred Heart Parish, was appointed by Msgr. Ramirez in June 1999 to receive the ministry and start an EADM cenacle prayer group. The first EADM cenacle group in Cebu City was founded and officially launched by Msgr. Ramirez in the Sacred Heart Parish in October 1999.

Since then, the EADM cenacle groups have spread in many areas in Cebu and in other provinces, under the guidance of EADM-SHP. Emma Dy was subsequently appointed as the Central Visayas Coordinator.

Mission – EADM members bring the Divine Mercy message and devotion through faith formation or cenacles.  We exercise the faith through spiritual and corporal works of mercy.
